Where Desart began. Our design studio and in-house manufacturing unit sit right here — so homes across Marthandam, Kuzhithurai and Thuckalay get designed, built and installed by one team, under one roof.
Marthandam is home. It is where our first drawing board went up, where our factory floor runs six days a week, and where most of our team lives. That proximity changes everything about how a project feels — a site visit is fifteen minutes away, a shutter that needs re-finishing goes back to the workshop the same afternoon, and you can walk in to see your wardrobe being built.
We work across the rubber-belt homes of Kuzhithurai and Palliyadi, the independent houses along the NH-66 stretch, and new builds around Thuckalay and Karungal. Heavy monsoons and year-round humidity here are unforgiving on cheap material, so we specify BWP-grade plywood, sealed edge-banding and moisture-resistant hardware as standard — not as an upgrade.
Everything from a single modular kitchen to a full turnkey home — designed, manufactured and installed by the same team.
Marine-ply carcasses, soft-close hardware and layouts planned around the way Kanyakumari kitchens actually cook — heavy vessels, wet grinding and daily masala prep.
Sliding, hinged or walk-in — built floor-to-ceiling to your wall, with internal layouts planned around sarees, suitcases and the storage every family underestimates.
Feature walls, concealed wiring, veneer and fluted panelling — the first room your guests see, treated with the detail it deserves.
A single turnkey scope covering every room, with one project manager, one schedule and one bill — from empty shell to move-in ready.
Layered lighting plans, cove detailing and profile lights — designed to make modest ceiling heights feel taller and evenings feel warmer.
Photoreal renders and a 360° walkthrough of your own home before a single sheet is cut — so nothing on site is a surprise.
A few of the spaces our Marthandam team designed, manufactured and installed.
Twelve years of building in this district taught us what actually matters here.
Cutting, edge-banding and assembly all happen in our Marthandam unit. No outsourced carpentry, no waiting on a vendor's schedule.
A written timeline from design sign-off to move-in, and a project manager who answers the phone when you call about week three.
BWP-grade ply, sealed edges and rust-resistant fittings — specified because Kanyakumari humidity punishes anything less.
Architects, engineers and installers who live here. You'll know their names, and they'll still be around after handover.
If your home is anywhere in the Marthandam belt, we can be on site the same week. Don't see your area? Call us — we almost certainly cover it.
Meet us at the Marthandam studio or we come to your site. We measure, listen and set a realistic budget band.
Layouts, material boards and photoreal 3D renders — revised with you until the drawings say exactly what you meant.
Your units are cut and assembled in our own factory a few kilometres away, under 146 documented quality checks.
Installation, snag-list, deep clean and handover — with a lifetime warranty on our manufactured units.
Both. Most Marthandam clients start with a modular kitchen or a set of wardrobes, and many come back for the rest of the home. We're equally happy taking a single room or a complete turnkey scope covering every space, including false ceiling, lighting, painting and furnishing.
A standard full-home interior runs about 45 days from design sign-off to handover, with our factory being minutes from most sites here. A single kitchen or wardrobe set is usually 3–4 weeks. Timelines are written into the agreement, not promised verbally.
Yes. The first consultation — whether at our Marthandam studio or at your site — costs nothing. You'll leave with a layout direction and a realistic budget range before committing to anything.
Kanyakumari's rainfall and humidity are hard on interiors. We use BWP-grade (boiling-water-proof) plywood for wet areas, fully sealed edge-banding so moisture can't creep into the core, and rust-resistant hinges and channels. It costs a little more up front and saves a great deal five years in.
Please do. Being local is the whole advantage — you're welcome at the factory to see your units being built, and we share site photographs at every stage for clients who can't drop in.
Yes — a lifetime warranty on units manufactured in our own factory, plus the manufacturer's warranty on bought-out hardware and appliances. Service calls in and around Marthandam are handled by our own team, not a franchise.
